6 months
I have had a baby for over half of a year! And I think I can finally say life is getting back to normal now. We are completely adjusted to being a family of three. And yes it did take us 6 months to make that adjustment :)
Jane is a busy little girl. She is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on to everything. She hasn't figured out how to get down though so she gets stuck standing for about 5 minutes until mom comes to the rescue. We just barely started solid food and she is not a fan. Mashed potatoes have been our only hope so far.
She loves to play with her dad but still loves to have her mom put her to sleep. She goes to anyone though and loves all of her aunts and uncles. She is fascinated by other children (especially boys--watch out dad)
She is truly the light of our life.

3 months
Holy crap my baby is old!! And she really is such a good baby. She is not sleeping through the night yet but she only gets up once around 4 to eat and then falls right back to sleep. She sleeps in her bassinet until that first feeding then she gets to snuggle with mom for the rest of the morning! I am way jealous of those babies that go to bed at 7 and wake up at 7- but I am enjoying every moment; the good and the bad because time is already going by way too fast.
I started going back to work last week. I ended up getting 15 weeks off which was such a blessing! I am only doing two 12 hour shifts a week so it works out really well. Josh watches her when I do nights and weekends and her grandmas fight over my day shifts.
Bad mom moments:
She fell off the bed
I spoiled my whole supply of frozen breast milk by leaving it in the car over night.
She got pink eye and I think I gave her a little sore underneath her eye from cleaning it out so much. Its all better now
I took benadryl when she was brand new and it knocked her out for hours!
Sunburned cheeks from doing yard work with mom.
- I'm sure there will be many more of these moments to come, but I had to confess the few I could remember.
More about Jane:
She is really good at blowing raspberries- spit goes flying
She LOVES being on her tummy so she figured out how to roll over from her back to belly
She hates her carseat or any kind of restraint including being swaddled
When she is not eating she is sucking on anything she can get her hands on, carpet, blankets, entire fist, etc
She really loves both of her grandmas. She just lights up when they start talking to her.
Her dad gave her a beautiful blessing last week and she looked so cute in her dress!
She loves being outside. whenever she is pissed off we just take a stroll outside and then she is fine.
Sorry not too many good pics because some LOSER stole my diaper bag with my phone in it. Ugh.

My Baby Girl
Since I take like 20 pictures a day of my precious little babe I thought I would post some of them. They are all with my phone, which doesn't take the best pictures but I still love them! I always try to catch her smiling. Now she is finally smiling on purpose consistently. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a little smirk come across her face! I could just eat her.
First time making it through all of sacrament meeting
In her birthday suit for her one month old birthday!
Loving bath time
First time in the stroller-- still a little small for it but she loves being outside!
She loves the clearance section!! (and I promise her neck is not broken, she likes it that way.)
Caught a smile!
She is so much fun. I really feel so blessed to have had such a smooth pregnancy, delivery, recovery and the most amazing little girl ever! I am loving my new life as a momma- and Josh is an amazing dad. I couldn't do it without him! (even though he sucks at changing poopy diapers, he literally dry heaves and runs out of the room)

My Valentine
Josh and I both worked until about 8 on Valentines but we still had a fun night full of Cafe Rio, Stratego and Sequence. Playing games with Josh is always entertaining because he is very competitive. I love beating him, even though it doesn't happen very often. I also love hearing him trash talk. He is so serious about it.
Here is my man in action:
Hanging things in Janes room. (I like to document him being a handy-man because it doesn't happen very often)
I love him.

Slow progress
I feel like a 4-year-old kid waiting for dad to get home. I am sitting here watching out the window waiting for Josh to get home, and I get so excited when I see a car slow down. Too many days off in a row makes me a crazy lady.
On another note, look at this beautiful quilt my mom made! I am so impressed with her. I absolutely love it and I can't wait to hang it on Janes wall! The nursery is coming together. We have all big purchases made like the crib, chair (which is a lazy boy per joshs request) and a beautiful dresser. Now I just need to figure out where to put everything... 3 weeks to go!
Oh crap I can't upload a picture. I guess you will have to wait to see the quilt and nursery. Why won't blogger take pictures off an iPad? That's dumb.
So my last doctors appointment I had basically made ZERO progress as far as this baby coming out is concerned. Hopefully tomorrow I will have better news but it is doubtful because I still haven't felt a contraction- even though my doctor said I was having one when I was with her last week but I'm pretty positive I wasn't.
Anyways, wish me luck with the room and the baby progress.

Getting Closer...
6 more weeks!!! I could not be more excited for this little girl. I just lay awake at night thinking about how great it will be to snuggle her between Josh and I. I'm not going to lie- I am way nervous but I know I can do it if I have Josh's help. As for right now, we are sleeping in as much as we can and going on dates as frequently as possible because I know those days are about to end. Can't wait to meet you Jane!!
